Description

Penarium is a frantic 2D arena arcade game where you take on the role of our quirky antihero; Willy. Willy is trapped in a crazy circus show where he needs to run, jump and avoid an array of killer deathtraps while being cheered on by a sadistic crowd that’s out for blood; his blood. Survive the ever ongoing armada of destruction for as long as you can and crown yourself champion of the Penarium!

History

After working on a strategy game and a level based puzzle game we wanted to do something completely different. We decided to create a basic prototype for a fast paced arena platformer. No multiple scrolling levels, no puzzles and no strategic thinking just instant unpredictable action. Overtime we turned this prototype into the sadistic circus extravaganza that is Penarium today.

Features

  • Instant arcade action
  • Pick up and play controls
  • Sinister circus theme
  • Countless ways to die
  • Multiple game modes
  • Local multiplayer
  • Worldwide and local leaderboards
